Rusty Hearts has presented the two ways for the character customization, Function and form. Keep in mind that there is a lot of both weapons and gear in the game, not mention all of items you can collect to craft even more items, so this is just an overview of the system.

Function

Function is the statistic boosts gived by the gear, there are 10 gear slots, ranging from helmets to body armor to boots and more, but these items do not change the look of your character, they change only their stats. Gear can change stats such as maximum HP and MP, Physical Damage, Magic Defense, Critical Hit chance, and a wide array of other elements to empower your character.

Form

“Form,” its the outward look of your character, or the cosmetic side of Rusty Hearts. Each character has 10 fashion slots that you will be able to fill with unique costume items. Head, shirt, pants, jacket, shoes, and more will give you the opportunity to really personalize the look of your Tude, Frantz, or Angela.
