WESTWOOD, Mass. – May 26, 2005 - Turbine, Inc., a leading publisher of online subscription entertainment, announced today the start of its "Callback" campaign for the critically acclaimed massively multiplayer online game Asheron's Call® 2, which invites former Asheron's Call 2 subscribers to come back and play the game free for thirty days.

Turbine will give former players the opportunity to experience the many enhancements made since the initial release of the graphically groundbreaking MMORPG Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings^®.  In addition to more than 20 episodic content updates Turbine provided to existing players since launch, Asheron's Call 2 will contain many new features including major game engine upgrades, all new Hero and Crafting systems and extensive performance improvements.  These changes enhance gameplay experience for returning players as well as new players joining with the recent launch of Asheron's Call® 2: Legions™.

In Asheron's Call 2, players are challenged to explore and conquer a world that has been devastated by conflict of an epic scale.  In this unique fantasy environment player's advance through hunting, questing, crafting and optional head-to-head combat.  The world of Asheron's Call 2 is both beautiful and deadly, where only the strongest may survive.

The "Callback" campaign is open to former Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings account holders who did not migrate from the Microsoft billing system when Turbine acquired the AC franchise titles from Microsoft Game Studios in 2004.  Now, those former Microsoft account holders are eligible for a free 30-day trial.  This offer does not apply to players who already migrated their Asheron's Call 2 accounts to Turbine, or to players who purchase Asheron's Call 2: Legions, which has its own 30-day free play period included with purchase.   This program also does not provide access to the new continent or races available to Legions customers.
