Answer:  Thank you for having me! To give a short introduction of myself, my name is Anthony Smith and I am the Business Development Manager at Games-Masters.com. We publish a number of top free-to-play games, one of which is the European version of CABAL Online.

Many people are unaware about Cabal Online, would you like to have some words about it in general lines? Why that name, ‘Cabal’?

A: Cabal Online is set in the world of Nevareth, during a time of recovery after a catastrophic event called the Great Destruction. The Great Destruction was orchestrated by an evil society called the Cabal, and they very nearly succeeded in their plot to exterminate all humans to cleanse Nevareth and start a new world. The Cabal was defeated, and they vanished into the shadows again. Now, hundreds of years after the Great Destruction, the Cabal has started to move again, and the players take part in an epic fight against this dark society.

Let’s talk about Cabal Online. How would you describe it?

A: Cabal is called the Revolution of Action for a good reason. The skills available to the different classes are visually spectacular, and the combat is much faster paced than many MMO games. It has all you would expect in a top game, with features for all types of players. This includes those who enjoy PvP, with the nation war system and ability to earn war experience points, as well as PvE with a large number of solo and group dungeons.

I have to say that many readers told us about how charming it is. Combat system specially. Would you say that this is a key feature beside to the hundreds of weapon models?

A:  Absolutely. Cabal uses a unique combo system, which allows players to create chains of attacking skills that can be cast very quickly. Fighting while using combos give several advantages, including faster attacks, perfect accuracy, and of course it leads to great discussions about which skill combos are the best to use.

Why do you think that Cabal Online is different from the rest of MMOs in the market?

A: CABAL has many unique features. The fast-paced nature of the combat combined with the size of the maps means that you are never far from a good fight, should you choose to play in one of the PvP areas. While for those who prefer PvE the timed solo dungeons, which force players to frantically try and complete missions inside dungeons in a very short space of time.

Personally, I love Soul Ability. Would you mind telling us something about?

A: The Soul Abilities were added with a recent update to the game. Soul Abilities are unlocked by finding Essence Runes ingame, and equipping one of these Essence Runes will awaken the latent combat power of a character – the power of the Soul. The Soul Abilities add small but potent bonuses to a character’s combat capability.

Why this game is more fun than others?

A: It looks great, and the gameplay is fast and fluid. New content is constantly being added by the development team, and dungeon instances vary from solo time-attacks to very-challenging raid dungeons, and large scale nation battles, where you can fight against other players for the glory of your chosen nation.

Talk us about the future. What are your plans in 2010 and beyond?

A: We recently released the Illusion Castle update, which introduced two new dungeons, a revamp to the user interface and new weapons, belts and rings. Looking forward there are plans to add several more large content updates, with some significant new features in the pipeline.
