Anthem of the Realm Contest
The shining knights of Albion…Hibernia’s rolling green hills…The brawn of Midgard’s stone-skinned trolls. If thoughts of your realm and images of your homeland set your heart a flutter, then we have a contest for you!
Sing the praises of your realm, and be forever immortalized in your capital city!
In celebration of the newly rejuvenated Community News page, we’ve created a contest to get your creative juices flowing. Write an anthem for your realm to sing its praises for all to hear! What stirs your realm pride?
Contest winners will have an NPC permanently placed in their home realm’s capital city to recite the anthem for all those who inquire!
Here are the rules and details of the contest:
-There will be one first-prize winner for each realm. Prizes include an NPC in your home realm’s capital city (Albion: Crier, Hibernia: Filidh, and Midgard:Barkeep) who will recite the winning anthem, and a Mythic prize-pack. (Please note: due to format limitations, anthems will display in game only in a single-paragraph format.)
-Be sure to spell-check and word-count your entries.
-Entries must be 500 words or fewer.
-Only players with active accounts will qualify.
-G-rated anthems only, please.
-Mythic employees and official volunteers are not eligible to enter.
-Entries will be collected until Friday, August 6, 2004.
