We know that the game there will be no requirement for subscription to play, but what’s the difference between a paid account, and a free account? What’s the “cool” thing you can purchase by cash?
There will be no requirement for subscription to play The Reawakening. There will also be the option to eliminate tedious grinding and save time through by purchasing upgrades, cool items and enhancements for your Dreamlord.
This has been a long time request from our players and also something we’ve been thinking a lot about. I think it’s essential to give players the option to choose.
When the world ended, the Cynos put it into sleep, What’s the point of union in the storyline? The game will end with the Reawakening?
As the story goes: After the great disaster when the world ended in an inferno the Cynos (the gods in the world of Dreamlords) had to put the world to sleep to allow it the necessary time heal itself. Everything went black but after eons of silence, the Dreamlords, minor deities that holds dominion over the land, slowly reawakens and begins to put the world back together. But guess what! All is not what it seems though and it is not only the Dreamlords that has been awakened…

In clear text this is a part of the explanation of the cyclic world of Dreamlords. The game is played in eras, periods of time that lasts about 2 months during which you get a chance to build a civilization and compete with the rest of the players for the top rankings. After an era your Avatar will keep gear and skills and carry them over to the next era. The new era means a new Reawakening and a new chance to lead a new civilization (and new race if you so chose) and once again compete with the rest of the world for the top rankings.
With what thing from this new chapter are you proud in particular?
Good question. We’re actually really happy how The Reawakening has turned on the whole. It would be hard for me to mention a particular detail as it’s really about how the different parts of the game comes together to create an amazing experience. That said, we’re all quite happy with the new look of the Dreamlords. They rock.
Before my last question, I would like to ask you about yourself as gamer. What’s your favourite race? Do you play like a normal player or you control a Cyno? Don’t lie us.
Oh, that is a tricky one… and to be honest I have had a hard time choosing one. Since I can do whatever I like being the CEO and all I actually didn’t have to choose so I played all three races in the beginning. However as I only had so little time to play it ended up being 3 very mediocre patrias. I am also one of those players who never make up their minds on things.
Like in WoW I never reached max level on any character but have played all horde (and a few alliance) races and classes and combination there of to a certain level. The same thing here in Dreamlords; I start with one the first era, switch to another the next era and then get the third the following era.
Fielding the Patriarch as Thûl gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all over, but then again I love fielding my knightly units when playing covenant and smite my enemies with holy wrath… and don’t get me started on my sinister smile when nuking the enemy with my Ministers of Pain when playing Nihilim. So when it comes to my gaming I am not capable of sticking to a decision it seems, I’d like to think I am better at being focused when it comes to my work ;)
And finally, what do you have to say to the spanish public who can’t wait to see the Reawakening alive?
Oh...the wait has been worth it and I’m really looking forward to meet you all in The Reawakening!
