First DDO in-game festival goes down a storm in Stormreach!
Sunday evening saw the 1st Annual Stormreach Music Festival held in the Harbormaster’s Plaza. The event was very well attended by the local citizens and also saw lots of new faces who had come over especially for the night. By the time the proceedings got underway, there was standing room only left!
The festival was to celebrate artistic talent and onlookers were treated to a wide variety of musicianship, bardic tales, song, dance, acting, wondrous illusions and even some stand-up comedy.
A panel of illustrious judges were present and faced with the very difficult task of choosing three people to win prizes for the best act. It was a tough decision however they managed to finally agree that Juliette, with her witty repartee should be awarded third place, Rojan won the honour of second place and top prize was presented to Jaide who entertained us all with a wonderful bardic tale. Top prize was a much sought after piece of jewellery that afforded the bearer a +10 on their perform skill. A worthy prize we’re sure you’ll agree!?
The event was attended by Satine from the community team and several members of the Alchemic Dream team who were on hand to invigilate, provide the prizes, manage logistics and provide assistance to members of the audience. The event itself however was organised by Legends Guild and in particular Tymaara. A resounding success, Tymaara should be very proud of her achievement. Also worth a noteable mention is Fade, the maitre d’ for the evening who did a great job of keeping the show on track. The community had a wonderful evening and are very grateful for all of their efforts.
Well it seems like too long to wait until the next one, let’s just hope it comes sooner that we think!
