Planeshift

Inside the game we appear in the great underground city of Yliakum where we'll have to begin to make our adventures.  In that city we'll be able to find other players with whom to group and create guilds and begin to explore the sublevels of the underground world.  These lock up great dangers and creatures who wait in the dark to attack everything that it dares to explore them.  But since we have already said, the game is in a very early stage and is still very empty in contents.

Before anything, we must return to emphasize that Planeshift is a free project, that debts its reason of being to a team of professionals who dedicate themselves to let it grow in an altruistic form.  Reason why the same critical eye with this title cannot be used that with others of the same sort like Everquest II or World of Warcraft that counts on the support of true money machines for their production.  Graphically, the game is correct, although quite out of phase for the times that run at the moment, but considering that all the graphical engine and the textures and, really, all the material of this production are of open source, it can't request a quality of last generation.

Be since it is, it's necessary to applaud the initiative and the effort of Atomic Blue Corporation when raising from zero Planeshift and to create one free MMORPG with greater quality.  We don't forget that generally the games that don't require monthly payment of this type or are based on Web its graphical quality leaves very many that to wish.  But specially we want to honor the spirit of the original Internet that it can be feelt in this project, wanting to create a product without enterprise fastenings, that can please to the maximum of people, that it does not require of any type of payment to be able to be enjoyed and that, above, is of open source so that all the one that it wants can use its profits to develop its own projects.  Without a doubt we will follow with detail the progresses of Planeshift and its development staff.
