Blizzard Entertainment has announced the aperture of 17 new servers for the european version of World of Warcraft to support the entrance of new customers with the distribution tomorrow of 250.000 new copies of the game. Here you have the details:
With more World of Warcraft boxes becoming available across Europe from this Friday, we are preparing to welcome a massive new wave of players to our realms. To this end, our European technical team will open a first new set of realms tonight. These are:

If you are planning to acquire a copy of World of Warcraft once the new boxes are available, you can rest assured that there will be enough room to accommodate all newcomers. We suggest that new and existing players chose the 17 new or low population realms when creating new characters to avoid overpopulation and queues. You can find a list of realm populations here.
