Warson Gulch is found to the south of the forest of Ashenvale, where the players have the primary target of capturing the enemy flag located in their base and to protect theirs own one as well. This battleground is simpler in its purpose but it requires of a great tactical ability to be able to raise itself with the victory. The adventurers will have to team work and coordinate themselves to be able to survive, to capture the enemy flag and to maintain the theirs own one. This battle zone is destined to groups of 10 players by side, between level 21 and 60, although whenever we enter we will do it in an instance destined to our rank of level so that the game can be the most compensated possible.

To the north of Hillsbrad, in the skirt of the mountains of Alterac it's found the entrance to Alterac Valley, the other battleground included at first and the greater one of both, dedicated entirely to the conflict at great scale between the Horde and the Alliance. In it both sides begin controlling half of an extensive map that includes a main base by faction, several forward posts, observation towers, graveyards and caves. The main objective is to conquer all the map until being able to arrive at the main fortress of the enemy and eliminate the Commander-in-Chief of the same one.

In Alterac Valley only players from level 51 to 60 can enter and so that the battle zone begins it requires a minimum of 30 adventurers by side, being the maximum of 40. In Battlegrounds the matter is not only to kill the players of the rival side but that we can make specific objectives thanks to special quests that can be obtained in the outside of the zone of battle. Thus in several NPC's we will be able to obtain rewards for capturing a enemy graveyard, an observation tower or to eliminate the rival Commander-in-Chief.
