ANKAMA to host DOFUS stand at Games Com
Roubaix, France – July 1st 2009 – ANKAMA announces it will host a stand at the biggest European video games convention from August 19th to 23rd in Cologne, Germany.
More than 200,000 visitors are expected at the Games Com in Cologne, where ANKAMA will introduce DOFUS 2.0, the new version of its famous MMORPG. Located in Hall6/booth B40, the 200 m² stand will be dedicated to ANKAMA’s universe, providing visitors with an exclusive experience of ANKAMA’s latest game.
Since its official release in September 2004, DOFUS (www.dofus.com) has experienced exponential growth. Now available in 7 languages including French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Italian, the game has gathered over 20 million players worldwide.
Five years after its debut, a brand new version of DOFUS is due to be released soon, in order to meet players’ expectations. The Games Com will be the opportunity to reveal DOFUS 2.0 for the very first time in a major exhibition. The game has been completely revamped, featuring more detailed graphics, new animations, improved performance and gameplay in order to give players a renewed experience of their favorite game.
