The character progression is structured in levels, that we will be raising while we obtain experience when facing monsters or accomplishing missions. Whenever we raise a level we will be given five points to improve our stats and a skill point improvement, with which we will be able to specialize in some of our skills so that for example a certain spell makes more damage than the basic one. Of this form it encourages the differentiation and specialization within a same class, to choose the players whereupon abilities or powers to be more effective.

As we have said in the beginning, Dofus is a tactical MMORPG, reason why we will be able to move normally by the world, but all the combats are made in small instances in which we will be able to fight alone or up to seven players more. At the start of each combat, we will be able to see the slots available by side, eight, and to locate our character in the free position we want. Once all the adventurers are ready becomes a roll of initiative and the movement order is designated, since the combats are strictly in turns.

In the combats it's very important to use the strategy, since it's the one that will decide who wins or loses, prioritizing even more than the difference of levels between the opponents. As far as the animations of the combats they are very obtained and graceful considering the permanent aesthetic of cómic that has Dofus. Thus we will be able to see spectacular effects when we use a special attack, we put traps or we use a magic spell. In each turn we will be able to use 3 points of movement, by each point we will be able to move a square, and 6 points of action to spend with our powers and skills. Page 2 of 3 >> |
